Conversational Chinese 1

For students who completed Adult Level 3 or have sufficient prior learning experience. The communicative approach and project-based learning are applied in this class. Students are engaged to reinforce their confidence in using Chinese language to converse and express ideas based on the topics they are learning. Students will focus on practicing their four language learning skills, i.e. listening, speaking, reading and writing by typing characters. The learning topics cover courtesy expressions, introducing people with nationalities and family members, descriptions of food, locations, and going shopping.
